Test Subject Program

We guarantee that it's very probably safe.

It’s not always glamorous but someone has to test the super-soldier serum or be the first to go down the bobsled run. Like any game company putting out quality games we need those dedicated people to taste the soup before it is seasoned. Most companies have play testers, but here we need test subjects willing to submit to the variety of dangers posed by unfinished rules and hand-drawn artwork. We value our test subjects and not only give them credit in the games they made better but we hope to become successful enough that there are some real rewards for those that help us game in and game out.

How? First, you have to become one of our Lab Rats. However, while all Test Subjects are Lab Rats, not all Lab Rats are Test Subjects. Once you have become a Lab Rat (newsletter subscriber), you can contact us and let us know you are willing to become a Test Subject.

There are two kinds of Test Subjects, early adopters and blind testers. You can be one or the other for each game.

Early adopters will be required to do some print and play craftwork with files making their own versions of the games. Essentially these Test Subjects will help us develop games and make them the best they can be by having large amounts of input on the play of the game.

Blind testers will get real (or real-looking) games to try out and make sure that all the t’s are crossed and the i’s are dotted. These Test Subjects cannot have been early adopters for the same game because they will need to be able to see if they can set it up and play it from the box without guidance. Questions need to be answered about components and graphics.

We need a strong force of both kinds of Test Subjects so join the Laboratory today!
